About this scholarship
Highest automatic merit scholarship for in-state new transfer students admitted to Winthrop University. Applicants need a completed admission application by June 1, 2026 for priority consideration, at least twelve semester hours from prior colleges, and a cumulative college GPA of at least 3.75 excluding remedial or vocational coursework. No separate scholarship application is required. The award provides three thousand dollars per year and renews for up to two additional years with full-time enrollment and satisfactory academic progress.
