About this scholarship
The Transfer Achievement Scholarship is a one-time one thousand dollar award for transfer students admitted to the University of Houston main campus for a spring term. Applicants need more than fifteen transferable hours from a regionally accredited U.S. institution, a 3.0 cumulative GPA, full-time enrollment of twelve or more credit hours, and demonstrated financial need based on a completed FAFSA or TASFA. No separate scholarship application is required; eligible admitted students are considered as funding allows. The award is not renewable and does not qualify recipients for non-resident tuition waivers. Spring and summer admits to other terms are not eligible; funding is limited and not guaranteed for all qualified applicants.
