About this scholarship
The Tom J. Smith Memorial Scholarship at the University of Central Arkansas supports full-time students majoring in the College of Business with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.75. First preference goes to residents of Van Buren County, Arkansas, and second preference to accounting majors. Financial need may be considered. Students apply through the UCA Foundation's single online application, open from October 1 through January 26, and must have a FAFSA on file if they are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. The College of Business awards more than thirty privately funded scholarships annually through this process. Selected recipients receive funds applied directly to their UCA student account after completing acceptance and donor thank-you requirements.
