Eligibility
About this scholarship
Outstanding members of the UBC Vancouver Thunderbird Women's Soccer Team in any year of study may be considered. Preference is given to students who relocated to attend UBC from outside the Lower Mainland, are enrolled in the Faculty of Science, or have demonstrated leadership on and off the field.
One or more awards may range from $500 each up to the maximum allowed under athletic association regulations, funded through an endowment from the Buchanan Programme and Tracy Borralho (B.Sc. 2002, Dipl. Acct 2006). Selection is made on the recommendation of the Athletics Awards Committee; there is no separate application.
Tracy Borralho relocated from Kitimat, BC to attend UBC and was a member of the Thunderbird Women's varsity soccer team from 1997 to 1999.
