Thunderbird Centennial Award in Rowing

Outstanding members of the UBC Vancouver Thunderbirds rowing team in any year of study may be considered.

One or more awards of varying amounts may range from $500 each up to the maximum allowed under athletic association regulations, funded through an endowment from UBC Rowing Gold for Life Committee members. Selection is made on the recommendation of the Men's and Women's Rowing Head Coaches and the Athletics Awards Committee; there is no separate application.

This award celebrates 100 years of rowing at UBC and was established to help bring international acclaim to UBC's rowing program.
