About this scholarship
The UMBC Theatre Department Scholarship awards multiple theatre majors each year based on academic accomplishment and service to the department. Funded by ticket sales from UMBC Theatre productions, awards range from $500 to $2,500 applied directly to tuition. Applicants must have spent at least two semesters as a theatre major at UMBC, though seniors with following-year enrollment may also apply. Students may receive the scholarship a maximum of two times. Applications are submitted through Scholarship Retriever each spring for use the following summer or academic year.
