You must have completed coursework, passed preliminary exams, and received research proposal approval. The fellowship provides $25,000 for one year of full-time dissertation completion. The number of recipients varies. Apply by the posted deadline. Selection weighs scholarly excellence, project quality, and commitment to women and girls through service or research.

High school seniors in their final year with at least a 3.0 GPA who demonstrate leadership, service, and commitment to positive change in their schools and communities may apply for the Coca-Cola Scholars Program. One hundred fifty students are selected each year to receive a $20,000 achievement-based scholarship. Complete the online application with academic transcripts and letters of recommendation. Finalists participate in an interview. Since its inception, the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation has provided more than $87 million to thousands of scholars nationwide.

U.S. citizens age 18 or older in eligible states with at least a 3.0 GPA who are enrolled in or accepted to a U.S. college for at least 12 credits may apply for the Fox Pest Control Scholarship. One recipient receives a $5,000 scholarship. Entrants may not be Fox employees or household members of Fox employees; Fox customers are eligible. Submit a 500 to 1,000 word essay on leadership and community service, a letter of recommendation from the service project recipient, and GPA certification via the online application.

Lehigh County, Pennsylvania residents enrolled full-time in an accredited U.S. medical school may apply for the LeCoMASE Fund Scholarship administered by the Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Two awards of $3,400 are offered. Applications are accepted from July through September 30. Submit proof of Lehigh County residency and current medical school enrollment with the foundation's application form. The fund is supported by contributions from the Lehigh County Medical Auxiliary's Scholarship and Educational Fund.
