About this scholarship

U.S. citizens age 17 or older who are high school seniors, graduates, GED holders, or undergraduates whose finances were affected by their own ALS diagnosis or that of a parent, guardian, spouse, sibling, or parent's spouse may apply via Scholarship America. One $5,000 award is granted annually, renewable up to three years with a 2.5+ GPA and six credits per term.

Submit the online application with a statement on ALS-related financial impact, a career and educational goals statement, academic evidence, leadership documentation, and an online recommendation.

The fund honors Paula's legacy of compassion and resilience for families affected by ALS.
