About this scholarship
The JWU Pledge is Johnson & Wales University's affordability initiative for new full-time undergraduate students beginning Fall 2026 who live in university housing and complete the FAFSA. U.S. citizens with a high school GPA of 3.2 or higher may receive grant and scholarship packages covering up to 100% of tuition when household income is up to $80,000 and the student is Pell Grant eligible, or at least 70% of tuition when income is between $80,001 and $200,000. Pledge funds apply to tuition only, are added after other merit and need-based aid, and renew annually based on FAFSA-reported family income. Commuter students are directed to the separate JWU Commuter Grant.
