The Joanne Bomben Bursary

Students enrolled in McMaster's Michael G. DeGroote School of Medicine who are in good academic standing and demonstrate financial need. Preference goes to students with an interest in pediatrics.

The bursary is $2,000. Applicants must submit a separate letter describing their interest in pediatrics, such as an approved elective or an educational or research project in the field. Apply through McMaster AwardSpring with Medicine bursaries.

Established in 2008 by Frank Bomben and his children Kayley and Jeffrey in memory of Joanne Bomben (nee Butters).
