The Dr John E Foster Memorial Award in Native Studies

Students of Aboriginal descent as defined by the Constitution Act, 1982, Section 35(2), or accepted as a member by an Aboriginal community may qualify. Recipients must have satisfactory academic standing and be entering the second year of the Bachelor of Arts (Native Studies) in the University of Alberta Faculty of Native Studies.

One award of $750 is granted annually. Selection considers academic standing, involvement in the Native community, and financial need.
