About this scholarship

Indigenous and/or Black students currently enrolled part time or full time at the University of Windsor, at the undergraduate or graduate level, may apply. The award supports career-related academic or experiential learning such as conference travel, course materials, professional development, study abroad, or wellness and healing support.

Award amounts vary. Stage 1 applicants must be in good academic standing, show community involvement, and articulate personal circumstances that have affected their education. Financial need and intersectionality may be considered.

Apply online through the Award Profile in UWinsite Student for stage 1. Selected students advance to stage 2, which requires a community letter of support and an interview with questions provided in advance.
