About this scholarship
Female legal residents of Texas pursuing careers related to public finance may apply for Texas Women in Public Finance chapter scholarships. Eligible applicants include college-bound high school seniors, current undergraduate students, and graduate students.
The chapter awards scholarships up to $3,500 across high school, undergraduate, and graduate categories. Chapter winners may advance to national Women in Public Finance consideration.
Submit your application by the June 5 deadline through the Texas chapter.
Texas Women in Public Finance fosters relationships and educational forums for women in state and local government finance, investment banking, law, and related fields.

- Each essay submitted as a separate sheet; do not include your name on the essay pages
- Essays saved in PDF and combined with the application form, all official transcripts (PDF, min. 2 years), and optional resume into a single PDF document
- Eligibility: Texas female student; minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale for undergraduate applicants
- Deadline: June 5, 2026, 11:59 p.m. CST
- Each essay must be 500 to 1,000 words, submitted separately without the applicant's name, and saved as PDF.
- Application, transcripts, essays, and optional resume must be combined into a single PDF.
