Texas Mutual Scholarship Program

Injured employees of Texas Mutual policyholders whose injuries qualify for lifetime workers' compensation benefits may apply, as may unmarried dependents ages 16 to 25 and surviving spouses of employees who died from or were permanently disabled by a compensable workplace accident, when those dependents or spouses are eligible for workers' compensation benefits.

Awards of up to $6,600 help cover tuition, fees, books, and supplies, based on need and as funds allow. Applicants must enroll full time and maintain a 2.50 GPA. Renewals are available when funds permit.

New and renewal applications are due June 30 for fall and October 31 for spring.
