About this scholarship

About 1,000 entering Texas A&M University College Station freshmen each fall who are Texas residents, first-generation college students (neither parent holds a bachelor's degree), and have family income under $50,000 verified through FAFSA or TASFA may qualify.

The Regents' Scholarship provides up to $6,000 per year for up to four years with satisfactory academic progress. First-year on-campus residency and program participation are required.

Students who meet the criteria are considered automatically. Submit FAFSA or TASFA early and complete the financial aid file by the stated deadlines.
