About this scholarship
A student upon completion of the first year of the Master of Archival Studies program or Joint MAS/MLIS program in the UBC School of Information (formerly SLAIS) who demonstrates scholarly excellence and leadership promise may be considered.
One award of $1,000 is offered.
Recommendations are made by the School of Information in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate application.
The award honours Professor Terry Eastwood, the first professor hired to teach in the Master of Archival Studies program and program chair from 1981 until June 2000.
