About this scholarship
Tennessee residents who graduate from an eligible Tennessee high school with at least a 21 ACT, 1060 SAT, or 3.0 GPA and enroll at an eligible postsecondary institution within 16 months may receive this lottery-funded scholarship.
At four-year schools, full-time freshmen and sophomores receive up to $2,250 per semester and juniors and seniors up to $2,850 per semester. At two-year institutions, students receive up to $1,600 per semester. The number of recipients varies.
File the FAFSA by September 1 for fall, March 1 for spring, or May 1 for summer. Renewal requires maintaining a 2.75 cumulative GPA after 24 and 48 semester hours, or a 3.0 GPA after 72 semester hours and every 24 hours thereafter.
