About this scholarship

The Tappan Scholarship provides renewable merit funding to selected entering non-resident undergraduates at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor campus. The award covers up to eight terms of full-time enrollment as long as recipients meet Satisfactory Academic Progress and remain continuously enrolled at U-M or in a UM-approved study abroad program without breaks in fall or winter terms. Students must enroll for the fall term immediately following high school graduation. Selection occurs automatically during admission review with no separate application.
