About this scholarship
Full-time students majoring in agriculture at a Texas college or university with at least 12 credit hours and a minimum 2.5 GPA may apply, including entering undergraduates, continuing students, and graduate students.
Recipients may receive up to $4,000 total, paid up to $500 per semester directly to the student's college toward enrollment expenses. Submit a maximum 500-word essay with the mailed application to the TAIA Scholarship Committee in Lubbock.
The Texas Agricultural Irrigation Association awards this scholarship in honor of Dick Laursen, a lifelong irrigation specialist who co-founded SWISH, Inc.
