UBC graduate students doing work in Polish studies may receive this prize. If there is no graduate candidate, it may go to the most deserving undergraduate student of Polish language, literature, or history who will proceed to third- or fourth-year courses in the field.
The prize is $1,300. It is awarded on the recommendation of the Department of Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies. No separate application is required.
