Merit scholarship at Brandeis University awarded nearly every year to two Israeli citizen undergraduates, one Arab and one Jewish, who are committed to fostering greater tolerance and understanding between Arab and Jewish Israelis. Created by Alan Slifka in honor of his parents, the award supports students dedicated to coexistence ideals aligned with Brandeis's social justice mission.
