About this scholarship
The Sustainable Materials and Technology program at NC State offers merit-based scholarships to incoming freshmen, transfer students, and continuing students in the major. Annual awards range from $500 to $3,000 and are not automatically renewable, so students reapply each year. Recipients must be full-time Sustainable Materials and Technology majors following the official semester-by-semester plan and cannot hold another NC State scholarship covering all tuition, housing, and living expenses. Incoming students apply through PackAssist by February 15; continuing students apply by May 1.
