About this scholarship

University of Toronto undergraduates selected for the Centre for International Experience Summer Research Exchange Program receive a $3,000 CAD SREP Award for an 8 to 16 week in-person research placement at a partner institution. Selection is competitive and based on merit, potential, future leadership, and interest in research. Successful nominees may also apply for the needs-based International Experience Award for additional support (Mitacs GRA recipients are not considered for the SREP Award).
