About this scholarship
Open to a student entering the penultimate or final year in Chemical Engineering at UBC Vancouver. Consideration is given to academic standing, character, and interest and promise in the field of engineering. Financial circumstances may also be considered.
A scholarship of $1,050 has been donated in memory of Prof. Stuart D. Cavers (1920-1983), a 27-year faculty member in the Department of Chemical Engineering.
Recipients are selected on the recommendation of the department in consultation with a representative of the Student Chapter of the C.S.Ch.E./A.I.Ch.E. and a representative of the family. There is no separate application.
