About this scholarship
The Steve and Cynthia Holmberg Education Endowed Scholarship provides a $5,000 award to support tuition and other educational expenses for University of Alaska Fairbanks School of Education students preparing to become Alaska teachers. The endowment was established through the Holmbergs' long-time support of education in Alaska and recognizes students who demonstrate academic commitment and engagement in School of Education activities. Recipients are selected by the UAF School of Education; contact the School of Education for current application procedures and deadlines.
