Stephen and Katherine Kirstiuk Scholarship

Open to a UBC Vancouver student with an outstanding interest and academic record in Ukrainian history and language. If no such candidate is available, the award may go at the department's discretion to a student whose work in Russian and Slavic Languages and Literature shows strong interest in Ukrainian Studies.

The award is a $1,450 scholarship endowed by the family and friends of Stephen and Katherine Kirstiuk. No separate application; recipients are chosen on faculty recommendation from the Department of Central, Eastern and Northern European Studies.
