About this scholarship
Tennessee residents, or students attending Tennessee colleges, who are high school seniors, graduates, or current undergraduates entering full-time study may apply. First-time freshmen need at least a 2.8 high school GPA or an ACT score of 18; upperclassmen and transfers need a 3.0 cumulative GPA and demonstrated financial need.
The foundation awards $1,000 per semester, up to two semesters per year, for tuition, fees, room and board, books, and educational materials. Funds are paid directly to the college or university.
Submit a completed application with sealed official transcripts and financial need documentation by July 1 for fall or December 1 for spring. Preference goes to applicants with civic engagement or pre-law intent. Recipients must re-qualify each semester with at least a 2.5 term GPA.
