About this scholarship
Students enrolled at one of North Carolina's fifty-eight community colleges may be nominated for this award through their campus Scholarship Selection Committee. The SECU Foundation does not review individual applications directly.
Each scholarship is worth up to $5,000. The program funds 116 awards across the state, with two scholarships allocated to each community college.
Contact your community college financial aid office for nomination deadlines, a completed Student Data Form, and local selection requirements. Committees look for leadership, character, integrity, and community involvement aligned with the credit union's "People Helping People" philosophy.
