Douglas College students in financial need who are enrolled in any Vocational Education and Skills Training (VEST) program (formerly Adult Special Education) may receive this bursary. Recipients are identified by the Financial Aid Office or referred by a program administrator.

The award amount varies. Funds are meant to help with basic necessities such as food, rent, and course supplies. Application deadlines fall on February 1, June 1, and October 1.
