About this scholarship
Named for honored SJSU alumnus St. Saffold, this one-thousand-dollar scholarship recognizes San José State University students who embody authentic Spartan leadership and inspire peers to make a difference through service and passion for helping others. Applicants must be matriculated with at least fifteen semester units completed at SJSU and a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above. Recipients are limited to one Associated Students scholarship during their SJSU career. Apply via the Spartan Scholarship application on the Financial Aid and Scholarship Office website; the annual application cycle typically closes May 1.
