About this scholarship
The Spirit of Catawba Scholarship is a full-tuition award for top students who excel in two or more of Catawba's primary values: Scholarship, Character, Culture, and Service. Eligible students have engaged in a distinguishing activity such as starting a service organization, initiating a new club, leading in school or community, starting a business, or conducting a research project. High school counselors may nominate students through the Catawba Scholars process. Applicants must apply to Catawba College by November 15 to be considered for the annual competition held in early February. Recipients must maintain a 2.7 cumulative GPA for renewal under Catawba scholarship policies.
