About this scholarship
The Special Collections and Archives Undergraduate Research Awards recognize outstanding original course-related projects that make substantive and creative use of Berea’s media collections and related print, manuscript, archive, and photographic materials held in Special Collections and Archives. Eligible work includes research papers, oral history projects, creative writing, exhibits, websites, and art created for academic credit. Each award is five hundred dollars, and one or more awards may be given when eligible projects are submitted. Applicants send a cover letter, project or link, five-hundred-to-one-thousand-word process statement, and faculty recommendation to the Head of Special Collections and Archives.
