About this scholarship
The SPARK Endowed Scholarship supports SDSU students pursuing the Fitness Specialist concentration in Kinesiology who have financial need. Paul and Wendy Rosengard established this fund alongside related research endowments honoring Paul's work on the NIH-funded SPARK physical activity program and his SDSU kinesiology degree. The scholarship is one of three endowed funds the Rosengards created in the School of Exercise and Nutritional Sciences. Students apply through departmental and Aztec Scholarships processes according to current ENS guidance.
