About this scholarship

The SPARC Scholarship at Illinois Institute of Technology provides up to fifteen thousand dollars annually to academically talented students from low-income households pursuing School of Computing bachelor's degrees including applied mathematics, artificial intelligence, applied cybersecurity and information technology, computer science, data science, and statistics. Funded by a National Science Foundation S-STEM grant, awards are considered automatically for Pell-eligible recent high school graduates and community college transfers upon admission with no separate application. Scholars receive faculty, industry, and peer mentoring plus cohort activities. Funds may cover tuition, fees, room and board, textbooks, transportation, or laptops beyond tuition alone.
