About this scholarship
Southerland Aggie Leader Scholarships recognize currently enrolled Texas A&M University undergraduate, graduate, or professional students who demonstrate strong leadership and campus involvement. Each one-time award is one thousand dollars split equally between the upcoming fall and spring semesters. Applicants must have completed at least one semester at Texas A&M, enroll full-time in a degree program, hold a satisfactory conduct record, and maintain a minimum 2.5 cumulative GPR for undergraduates or 3.0 for graduate and professional students. Candidates complete the Southerland Aggie Leader essay on the University Scholarship Application and submit a required thank-you letter if selected.
