About this scholarship
The SMU Dedman North Dallas High School Scholar award supports select graduates of North Dallas High School who meet rigorous academic and involvement criteria. Recipients receive full tuition and the general student fee plus a housing and dining scholarship up to double-occupancy room rates and The Works Plus $200 Flex dining plan. Finalists are interviewed by a selection committee after SMU verifies top-decile class standing, at least a 90 grade average on a 100-point scale, two Advanced Placement courses, and extracurricular participation. Full-time enrollment of 12 or more credit hours is required, and total SMU merit and need-based aid cannot exceed tuition and fees.
