About this scholarship
Second-, third- and fourth-year students in the School of Nursing in the Faculty of Health and Social Development at UBC's Okanagan campus are eligible for this scholarship. The $2,400 award is made available through an endowment established by Silvia and Alfonso Vigilante, along with matching funds from The University of British Columbia.
There is no separate application. The scholarship is adjudicated by Enrolment Services.
The scholarship was made possible by Silvia in loving memory of Alfonso Vigilante, who immigrated to Canada from Italy, raised a family and deeply valued the importance of education and health care.
