About this scholarship

Silverstein Scholars are Denison undergraduates with superior academic achievement and financial need who receive support from the endowed fund established by Jonathan Silverstein and Natalie Silverstein to expand access and affordability at Denison. Selected students may have the student-loan portion of their financial aid packages replaced with grant aid, consistent with other Denison need-based endowed awards. Denison chooses recipients during financial-aid review after admission; there is no separate scholarship application. The Silversteins' ongoing philanthropy, including recent eight-million-dollar commitments, continues to grow the number of scholars supported on campus.
