The Shipherd Merit Scholarship provides up to fourteen thousand dollars per year to new and transfer University of Olivet students with an average high school GPA of about 2.8 entering in the 2025–2026 academic year. Named for founder Reverend A.M. Shipherd, this tier recognizes solid academic achievement through automatic consideration at admission. Awards renew up to four years.
