Open to the student standing at the head of the Indigenous Teacher Education Program (NITEP) graduating class for the Bachelor of Education (Elementary) degree. Students graduating in the spring or the previous fall may be considered.
The Sharp family endowment provides a $1,800 prize.
Selection is made on faculty recommendation. There is no separate student application.
