About this scholarship

Indigenous graduate students (First Nations Status or Non-Status, Métis, or Inuit) registered full-time in a master's or doctoral program at the University of Toronto can apply for the SGS Indigenous Graduate Travel Award to support travel or participation in Indigenous-focused educational activities in Canada or abroad.

Up to ten awards of up to $1,000 each are available annually. Applications are considered on an ongoing basis. Activities must focus on Indigenous student or educational issues and be approved by SAGE and First Nations House.

Apply with the application form (including a statement of justification, budget, and a letter of support from a university community member) by email to SAGE. International travel must follow U of T Safety Abroad procedures.
