About this scholarship

Full-time University of Toronto graduate students in good academic standing in an OSAP-eligible degree program who face an immediate, unexpected financial crisis that threatens their ability to continue may apply for short-term relief. Domestic students must have applied for and be in good standing with OSAP or another government student aid program, and must demonstrate financial need. The grant is not meant to cover shortfalls in OSAP, other aid, graduate funding, or personal resources. Part-time, non-degree, and visiting students, and those in non-OSAP-eligible programs, are ineligible. The award amount varies.

Students should first contact their Faculty Registrar or Graduate Unit. Applications generally require an advising appointment and financial need assessment; students may normally apply once per academic year.
