About this scholarship
Simon Fraser University students in any faculty with good academic standing and an approved India experiential learning placement (exchange, field school, co-op, volunteer, or service learning with an SFU India partner) may be considered for the SFU-India Student Mobility Award. Prior internationalization activities such as volunteering or mentorship strengthen an application.
The award is up to $4,000 toward travel and related costs. Adjudication also considers placement location, salary or stipends, and placement costs.
Exchange nominees should contact the Study Abroad Officer (saofficer@sfu.ca) for an application. Deadlines are January 10 (spring), May 10 (summer), and September 10 (fall). Awards are made by the Senate Undergraduate Awards Adjudication Committee on nomination of International Services for Students and Work Integrated Learning.
