Graduating high school seniors in the Kansas City metro area may compete for the SevenDays Make a Ripple, Change the World Scholarship by completing a lasting kindness project inspired by one of SevenDays' seven themes: Love, Discover, Others, Connect, You, Go, or Onward.
Five or more winners each receive $1,000. Essays are judged on community impact, creativity, longevity of the project, and writing quality.
Submit an essay describing how your project creates ripples in the community, encourages others toward kinder behavior, and sustains kindness after completion.
The SevenDays Make a Ripple, Change the World Scholarship awards $1,000 (5 winners).
The deadline is January 8, 2027. Applications submitted after the deadline are typically not considered, so plan to finish early.
