About this scholarship
The SECU Foundation People Helping People Scholarship provides $5,000 to a Cape Fear Community College student through the statewide two-year community college scholarship program. Eligible applicants must be North Carolina residents eligible for in-state tuition, high school graduates or GED completers enrolled in an associate degree, diploma, or certificate program, with at least a 2.5 unweighted GPA and demonstrated leadership, character, integrity, and community involvement. Applicants must file the FAFSA and complete SECU Foundation short-answer questions about leadership, college goals, and community contribution.
