About this scholarship
The SECU Bridge to Career Scholarship at Central Carolina Community College helps North Carolina residents remove financial barriers while completing short-term Continuing Education training that leads to state-regulated or industry-recognized credentials. Eligible target groups include unemployment insurance claimants, unemployed or underemployed adults, military veterans or spouses, and North Carolina National Guard members. Recipients must be U.S. citizens, enroll in a qualifying program of at least ninety-six hours through CCCC Continuing Education, complete a brief interview and Embark Career Interest Inventory, and consent to name and image use in promotional materials. Each award is five hundred dollars, and students may receive up to two scholarships per year for fees, books, supplies, credentialing tests, transportation, or childcare.
