About this scholarship
SCU California Promise is intended to meet full institutional demonstrated need for billable costs for first-year Santa Clara University undergraduates who are eligible for Cal Grants and have demonstrated financial need. Need equals billable costs minus the CSS Profile expected family contribution. FAFSA and CSS Profile are required at initial awarding; FAFSA is required annually for renewal. The promise does not apply to waitlist admits. Awards vary, renew for twelve consecutive academic quarters, and coordinate with federal, state, and university aid while recipients maintain satisfactory academic progress and full-time enrollment.
