About this scholarship
University-wide undergraduate research endowment created in 2013 by WSU alumni Scott and Linda Carson that gives preference to upper-division juniors and seniors conducting mentored research. Recipients are known as Carson Fellows and are selected through the Office of Undergraduate Research annual application alongside other fellowship options. Typical awards align with other OUR fellowships at about fifteen hundred dollars per year. Fellows must present their work at SURCA and work with a WSU faculty mentor who endorses the project during the application process.
