About this scholarship
U.S. residents, including undocumented students, who experienced homelessness in the last six years and will begin college for the first time may apply. Eligible applicants include high school juniors and seniors or GED students who meet the program's age requirements.
Scholars receive a $2,500 award plus monthly stipends up to $100, one-on-one case management, peer support, and three all-expenses-paid trips. Submit a transcript, up to three recommendation letters, and a 1,000-word essay on your experience of homelessness and commitment to education.
SchoolHouse Connection also connects scholars with policy advocacy opportunities and a national peer network.
