About this scholarship

International graduate students in good academic standing in the UBC Department of Geography may be considered.

A $4,000 award is offered annually.

The award is made on the recommendation of the Department of Geography in consultation with the Faculty of Graduate and Postdoctoral Studies. There is no separate student application.

The award was established through a gift from Sandra Sandy Lapsky (B.A. 1980), who has been an administrator in the Department of Geography at UBC since 1989.
